  • Family Time

It’s family portrait time! Seems people are noticing me and I’m starting to book up with family portraits. I actually love doing them. They’re so much fun. What’s not to like? Kids, loving parents, crazy families…it’s a hoot!!

Here’s a fun bunch I was lucky to photograph a couple weeks ago. More families to come…and hopefully weddings are on the horizon!

  • Pumpkin Time!!

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. I think I will be visiting more pumpkin patches then I want to, but mom’s gotta do what do what a mom’s gotta do. Last weekend I went with my nephew, Noah. He’s a happy little dude. This year my sister is making the little guy be a turtle. Now only two more pumpkin patches to go!

I’m not a political person, but I do believe people should vote. It’s your right. People that complain and don’t vote, don’t deserve the right to complain. SO GO REGISTER TO VOTE IF YOU HAVEN’T.

  • How smart is your right foot?

You have to try this please. It takes 2 seconds I could not believe this!!! It is from an orthopedic surgeon.

This will boggle your mind, and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot! BUT, you can’t.

    It’s pre-programmed in your brain!

    1. Without anyone watching you (they will think you are GOOFY……) and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

    2. Now, while doing this, draw the number ’6′ in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there’s nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you’ve not already done so.

Tell your friends to try. It will drive them nuts too.

  • Paris 2008

Paris seems so far away now… it’s only been a week. I got off the plane and jumped right back into work and mommy “life”. My kids and hubby met me at the airport. Paris was FANTASTIC, but is was FANTASTIC to see my little family again too.

I’ve finally gotten through my images. The pressure is on to post. Many of the other attendees have already done so and I’m truly impressed by their work. Paris really is a wonderful city. Couples kissing, cappucinos, croissants, bicyclists, beautiful buildings and fantastic art. People have been asking me about the trip. All I can say is “What’s not to like. It’s Paris!”

This is my third workshop with Scott. Each one is better and better. I feel with each one, I learn more and more. Also meeting the great people is a wonderful plus. This trip had a huge contingency of Canadians, as well as a photographer from Uganda and England. I have to say, Canadians are GREAT!!! The models were lovely. Thanks to Janna, Vanessa and Nina!! Plus photographers/models, Amber and Jenna!!

Hope you enjoy the images. I had a great time taking them. If you’ve never been to one of Scott Robert’s Workshops, try to DO IT NOW!!!!  They are inspiring. Scott is an excellent teacher. A mentor as well as a friend. His students are truly motivated and talented. Scott’s workshops really will bring you to the Next Level.

Also here’s a short slideshow too:

  • Happy First Birthday Baby Noah!!

Something special happened this weekend. My nephew Noah had his One Year Old Birthday Party. This was very special, not just because he’s my nephew and he is the BEST, but because Noah had a rough start in life. He was born with a cleft lip and palette. Last month, he had his pallete surgery and all went well. Yippee for Noah!!! His mom and dad are the best too. They are patient and loving. The BEST parents that Noah could ever have.

The party was fantastic. Family, friends, pizza, cake and a whole lotta fun. Can you imagine, all his grandparents were there, plus his Great Grandmother!! Happy Birthday NOAH!!!

    Noah’s first time eating cake!!

I think he likes it!! Yumm Yummm
